The way they talk about the disappearing middle class is how I feel about political and social moderates in America.
The edges are so extreme that it's not really possible to have any productive discussions. And it's not nearly as small of a % of the population as I thought a few years ago.
It feels pretty lonely in the moderate middle nowadays.
Democrats in USA are a right wing party. Republicans even more so.
The moderates are the progressive wing of democrats, a minority.
That republicans no longer want to cooperate with even a right wing party is telling, and that they paint it as some sort of socialist anti-freedom movement.
