I’m currently in a similar situation, and am desperately looking to move on. The market is not kind right now.
We have a properly dilbert-esque management layer of PHBs with meaningless titles running around demanding that all technical aspects of the project are explained to them in detail, several times, blame their frustration of not understanding on our inability to explain properly, and then overrule every recommendation and design decision.
Most of my emails are more disclaimers then content and everything is BCCed to my private email, because disasters are waiting to happen and this is an industry where “disaster” is weeks in the global news cycles.
