I gave Deep Research a very tough prompt inspired by a book I'm writing. I found its response insanely impressive -- the vast majority of people wouldn't know how to begin to approach the matter.

It was a little bit too dismissive of my trick question, or perhaps it was just tired by the time it got to that point. There aren't infinitely many ways to encode John's story. Still, that mistake aside, it did a remarkable job.
