America is a creative class economy. We do financing, design, marketing, and of course, patent trolling. Adam Smith was all about owning the means of production but that's just a bunch of baloney. Let China have that part. We will be able to maintain relevance indefinitely simply by demanding money while someone else does the work. Damn it feels good to be a rent seeker!
