Given the issues with some of Apple's other "AI summaries", perhaps they should offer a per-app opt-out to developers? And if Apple added a few % to their 30% cut for that feature, they could both boost revenue and cut expenses...
I agree. I'm not currently an app developer, but Iād prefer not to be reviewed by AI. Reporting issues and getting a response from Apple would most likely be a nightmare.
If it makes browsing apps harder for users it paradoxically promotes Apple Search Ads as the best way to cut the BS and get in front of users.
Apple has made so many manipulative changes to the iOS ecosystem like the "privacy" features of SKAN to push more revenue through their advertising and IAP systems.
