Brave is not “the crypto browser”. I turned off crypto related features years ago and have used it ever since as the most reliable privacy first chromium browser with all the Google bits ripped out. It’s excellent, and has ublock style tracking protection and ad blocking built in. The only time I ever hear or see anything related to crypto and Brave is here on hacker news when people complain about arbitrary, inconsequential non-issues related to headlines from years ago.
