Screen readers commonly provide several different ways to navigate on the page, and linear movement through the page is the least efficient method. Users can move e.g. between landmarks or between headings, or both at once in an ”outline” navigation mode.

Crucially: screen reader navigation is NOT the same as keyboard navigation.
